HOW TO GET TO THE ISLAND OF NOIRMOUTIER
BY CAR THROUGH PASSAGE DU GOIS
Passage du Gois, is a submersible road of longer than 4km connecting Barbâtre to Beauvoir-sur-mer, and is passable only at low tide.
To take this route, please consult the tide times to determine your crossing.
You can reach the island through passage du Gois 1h30 before and after the low tide.
BY CAR OVER THE BRIDGE
The bridge of the island of Noirmoutier, connecting Barbâtre and the continent from Fromentine (La Barre des Monts), is available free of charge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The bridge also has a bike path.
BY TRAIN FROM NANTES STATION
There is no SNCF station on the island of Noirmoutier. Daily coach connections are established from SNCF railway stations in Nantes, La Roche-sur-Yon and Challans.
From the Nantes SNCF train station, connecting the TGV to Nantes and the boats to the island of Yeu, the buses of the regional line 13 serve all year round:

Up to 25 buses a day are available in summer.
